Concurrent with The Armory Show, SCOPE Art Fair is dedicated to showcasing cutting-edge galleries, artists and curators. One of the world's foremost platforms for contemporary art, SCOPE Art Fair is an influential site for artistic exchange.

Featuring an Impressive Roster of Exhibitors and Guest Performers including an exhibit by Gawker Artists and performance by ADULT

The 4th edition of Fountain Art Fair New York, with reckless abandon of the art fair model will run opposite The Armory Show March 4th -7th, 2010. Fountain will showcase 20 exhibitors and independent projects in a sprawling 10,000 sq ft venue on Pier 66 known as The Frying Pan. Fountain New York, is an alternative art exhibition known for presenting cutting-edge and independent art galleries..

Public access to the exhibition begins Friday March 5th at 11am with evening event full of exciting bands and performances starting at 7pm including headlining band, ADULT. Internationally adored ADULT is an electro band from Detroit, Michigan that integrates vocals with drum machines, analog synths and electronic/punk elements. Also on the bill are Brooklyn’s indie rockers Depreciation Guild , members of Pains of Being Pure at Heart.

Gawker Artists’ exhibits NSFW (Not Safe For Work) at Fountain Art Fair. Featuring sexually suggestive works by Steve Ellis, Emiliano Granado, Justine Lai, Heather Morgan and Randy Polumbo , NSFW showcases Gawker Artists’ playful irreverence and ongoing exploration of the boundaries of corporate art programs. NSFW questions the meaning, role, and audience of sexually provocative artwork.
